Village Program Pods

The Rising Hawks (ages 12-16) and Wolf Kids (ages 8-12) were honing their mentoring skills by working in small groups with the Otter Pups (ages 5-7). The 3 groups were combined into Pods of 3 or 4. A challenge was to craft one solitary cat’s eye, ensuring that each member contributed. It required careful teaching and patience.

The Otter Pups were thrilled to be held so respectfully all afternoon and to put their pod’s cat’s eye on the Village Tree. The vibe of the day was caught in their joyful skip down through the quiet zone at the end of the day to greet their parents.
