Spring Alive!
Ages 8-14 | March 24-28
Registration Opens February 10 at 5pm
Inspired by the vibrance of growing plant life and bird activity, we are excited to offer our new Spring break camp: Spring Alive!
This softer skills camp will focus on relationality and deeper connection and awareness, reflected in the new growth and life around us on the land. We will explore many avenues of connection with the land, including plant medicines, art-making, naturalist nerd-ing and as always, an abundance of forest fun and games. The aim is to build a deeper sense of belonging, and develop new skills for self-regulation in nature. We hope you can join us!
Over the week we will:
Explore the land as we practice nature awareness + play fun games
Listen deeply to the natural world, as we develop our Naturalist knowledge of the plants + birds we share this land with
Learn about honourable harvesting + how to be in reciprocity with our plant kin
Get to know wild edible + medicinal plants
Create art with new plant allies through eco-printing, plant dyes + inks
Make plant medicines e.g. salves, tinctures (maybe to start your very own herbal first-aid kit?!)
Make new friends (human & non-human)!
