After-School Youth Program for kids ages 8-12

Over these 6 weeks the counsellors will lead an engaging, fun, and connective program for kids ages 8 to 12.  Nature-based, outdoor, group programs can be a wonderful way to receive therapeutic support amongst peers.  During our time together, kids will learn new skills through games and activities designed to support their wellbeing, self-esteem, peer/social connection, and increase awareness about their personal challenges.

This could be a great program for kiddos who may experience anxiety, difficulty with social skills, emotional regulation, self-confidence, and have challenges in traditional learning environments. This small group will help expand comfort zones and build a sense of belonging within the group and the natural world!
